THE NEW ep

REBORN EVERY DAWN

FOUR TRACKS OF PURE RIFFAGE - COMING 4TH NOVEMBER

"Speak it quietly or better still, shout it from the rooftops, for South Wales trio Fallen Temples are back with some new music and very welcome it is too. The band who formed in 2015 have been through a few tough times in recent times but have emerged from the pandemic with a re-energised vigour which has seen them play some huge gigs, including the inaugural Swansea Arena event.

It’s been a long time since their debut EP, The Future we Left Behind was released – six whole years to be exact and the Bloodstock alumni have no doubt been chomping at the bit to get back into the studio and record some of their now well-established songs so that the listening public have more than six songs to get their listening gear around.

With ex-Revoker bassist Shane Phillips joining the band in 2021, the Fallen Temples line-up is now Adam Vaughan (guitar/vocals), Joe Stirland (drums) and Phillips. Reborn Every Dawn sees the band completing their cycle of songs that they had worked on with former bassist Joe Lewis so in some ways it’s almost a cathartic closure of the first chapter of the band. Regardless of the background, what you get here is four absolute bullet proof hard rock songs that ooze with quality, hooks, and heavy riffs that all bury deep into the memory. Four definite earworms, and a reminder that Fallen Temples are a band well worth checking out if you haven’t already."

AS long as i can stand

LYRICS

While my demons are sleeping
I creep and lock the door
It's my demon that's keeping
Me from being more

Fears keeping me up
And it's tearing me down
But as long as I can stand
I'll hold my ground

It's my demon that's screaming
And breaking down the walls
It's my demon that's kneeling
And begging me to fall

Fears keeping me up
And it's tearing me down
But as long as I can stand
I'll hold my ground

With a stone in my hand
And my future in the other
I will shatter my past like glass

"The world has changed significantly since Fallen Temples released their single 'Broken' in January 2020. Fear and uncertainty have thrown the entire world into chaos, but Adam Vaughan, Joe Stirland and Joe Lewis have returned to remind us that Rock music has the unique ability to entertain, distract and unite. Praise for 'Broken' was universally positive, but with their most recent release of 'As Long As I Can Stand', Fallen Temples have truly elevated their craft to achieve the quality and full potential they have promised since 2015.

The single includes all the trademarks of a classic Fallen Temples song; thunderous drums, masterful guitar riffs, and transcendental vocals. The addition of a not so subtle hint at the inspirations for the band with a distinct Black Sabbath flavour emanating from the obviously personal song only adds to the pedigree and foundations of this talented trio.

There is no doubt that Fallen Temples are clawing their way to the top with a combination of hard work, decisive and artful lyrical hooks and a hunger that is almost palpable in every climactic chorus."

"Need some protein in your diet? Fallen Temples have an entire steakhouse's worth of the stuff in this lip-smacking slab. Not that it's neanderthal beefcakery – far from it. Marrying the moodiness of Rival Sons with the ballsy oomph of Monster Magnet and Clutch (even a whiff of Ghost in the closing twin-lead section), this is hard-grooving stuff that'll put hair on your chest and a stomp in your step."

Classic Rock Magazine

"This band just deliver the goods and they excite me... Two singles, two absolute bangers... They do everything with 110% energy - The guitar solo is ripping... It's so hooky with Mastodon vibes in the chorus... I'm hungry for more." Down The Front Media

"We rarely post about singles here (traditionalists see. We likes a good album) but those boyos in Fallen Temples have been at it again. Not content with increasing the population of South Wales, they are bringing the quality once more with their latest single, 'As Long As I Can Stand'. Released on 3rd April, 'As Long 'As I Can Stand' follows hot on the heels of their last single 'Broken'. An anthem for our current times, the song has all the instantly recognisable elements that make Fallen Temples one of the most exciting bands around. Thick chunky riffs, Adam Vaughan's sweet vocals and hooks that linger long in the memory, it's another musically transmitted disease that these guys are so good at spreading. Featured on BBC Radio Wales' Adam Walton show last night, the track will be available in all the usual places with a lyric video on YouTube (which we won't share this time!)."

Musipedia of Metal

"Sometimes all you want is some good old, rock solid, hard rock. Well Fallen Temples have got you covered. There’s a confident swagger and genuine edge to the music that pushes them beyond the plethora of bands that merely rehashing classic rock tropes at the moment, and it’s all finished with a nice little earworm of a chorus too. Splendid."

broken

LYRICS

If times the healer why's it killing me
Living on through my memories
Remember better days gone

I've broken my body and it's starting to fail
Held together by a screw and a nail
Tunnels light is starting to dim
Reality is setting in now
I'm not gonna make it home before the parts fail

Control not given willingly
Back turned someone changed the keys
Remember better days gone

"The perfect continuation of the superb trajectory the band is on"
Louis du Toit, Freelance Reviewer @ The Digital Fix

"Our second Facebook submission saw us staying in south Wales, thanks to power trio Fallen Temples, who prove that they are far from ‘Broken’ with the latest single to be extracted from their impressive ‘Reborn Every Dawn’ EP. It’s a catchy little anthem guaranteed to get crowds bumping and pumping when played live, and once again showcases the sheer quality of music emanating from our former homeland these days."

"Quality hard rock...F**king catchy as hell... In my head the chorus is playing over and over again...Fist pumping sing along...A band well worth playing attention...One of the shining lights of the UK rock and metal scene" GBHBL

"Since their formation in 2015, Fallen Temples have steadily collected some impressive accolades and built a reputation as a hard-working and classic yet progressive hard rock band. The intimate and intense vocals of Adam Vaughan, menacing Bass of Joe Lewis and thunderous and focussed drums of Joe Stirland made Fallen Temples one of the stand out bands during the 2019 Bloodstock Festival. The band followed up the release of their first EP, The Future We Left Behind ( Including the magnificent 'Cut the Wire' ) with a busy touring schedule of 2018 and 2019.

The trio has continued with their remarkable work ethic and have released their latest track 'Broken' with the accompanying video also released today. 'Broken' is by no means a departure or risk for the band with the familiar tenacity and ambition on display but is the perfect continuation of the superb trajectory the band is on. Vaughan's vocals are visceral and emotionally provocative and imbues the track with an obvious raw honesty. The tempo is perhaps a tad faster than previous tracks, but they are in complete control of their individual instruments and drain every drop of energy and rage from string to snare.

'Broken' proves once again that Fallen Temples are on the cusp of a profound career and should be regarded with respect and awe."
